Billedhuggere elsker intuitivt poesi

Othe evenings, their father would sip sherry and read poetry aloud to them after dinner – Shelley’s “Ozymandias”, Gray’s “Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard”, and other classics. “I developed a great taste for poetry from that,” Andre said. Before he learned to read, he remembers being fascinated by the way poetry looked in his father’s books, “by its plastic liveliness on the page compared to the dull grey clog of prose.”
